Commitee culture-Good Tradition?

I find the Govt would normally form a commitee for contentious issues. The committee would be headed by retired judge or supreme court or high court and they would be given a date to submit their findings. But still I find the number of such formed commitees are increasing day after day.

I haven't seen any action taken by Govt based on that report and I still have no idea if the report submitted by a commitee was really useful.

In my opinion the comittee culture is not fruitful. It has procrastinated justice.

Need ur thoughts on this.

Absolutely agree @ deepak.

Why do you even need the commitee . If its a high profile case, just let the FBI handle it.

The govt is not actually interested in disclosing things. It is a given fact that nothing happened to George fernandes and many other parties which were uncovered by the "tehelka team"

Its just a white wash to cover the ugly things that have happened until the public forgets about the issue at hand.
