Here is the detailed analysis of today's CMAT exam.

The paper was lengthy and tough, especially GK section

f. Strengthen and weaken the argument.

The verbal section was comparatively less lengthy than previous years .

The paper was on tougher side as compared to previous versions. Students are requested to be patient while solving the test, you will find enough sitters too in between which can be cracked.
Sectional Analysis:
Quants - good attempts - 20 +
Reasoning - good attempts - 18 +
Verbal - (3 RCs) - good attempts - 18 +
Gk - good attempts 10 +
 
Quite a few matrix based problems with a lot of variables in logic section which took a lot of time. GK was tough. Overall with this paper being lengthy and tougher than previous papers, the cutoffs expected to come down.
