The candidates who clear this exams are eligible for admissions in reputed colleges of the country. This entrance relates to those who posses a degree in law.

Structure of PGLCE

The exam consists of two parts. There will be a total of 120 questions for 120 marks. The duration of the PGLCE will be 120 minutes i.e. one minute for each question.

In part A there will be 40 questions .Twenty questions each from jurisprudence and constitutional law. The total marks in part A will be 40 i.e. 20 marks each for the two topics.

In part B, there will be 80 questions.16 questions each from public international, mercantile law, labour law, crimes and torts and IPR & other laws. Each section carries 16 marks and altogether 80 marks.

Eligibility Criteria

A candidate applying for the Post Graduate Law Common Entrance Test (PGLCE) should have a degree in law. The candidate should have a minimum 45% mark in the qualifying examination. Age relaxation is there for the candidates coming under the reserve category. Age relaxation is not applicable for all candidates that come under the general category.

The form will cost you Rs 275.Send the completed form to the above mentioned address through speed or registered post. Candidates cannot submit online forms.

How to fill the Form?

Candidate should fill all the columns without any mistake. They need to recheck after completing. When giving information about the caste and religion, candidate should give the details correctly. Because once the form reaches the office then he / she will not be allowed to change it .All the details should be entered with black ball pen.

Exam will be in the second week of June, 2012

Application form is available from first week of March, 2012

It will be available till end of April, 2012

Candidate can submit the form with late fee till May, 2012 second week
