Chana prices fell by Rs 28 to Rs 3,313 per quintal in futures market on rising supplies and expectations of higher in output against subdued local demand. Marketmen said supplies from the new crop have start arriving from Andhra Pradesh, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh mainly influenced the trading sentiment. They said expectations of higher output this season against restricted buying further influenced the prices.

Chana trading range for the day is 3304-3386.Chana fell due to a drop in local buying amid a rise in supplies from the new season crop and estimates of higher outputChana output is expected to rise after farmers expanded area under cultivation, lured by higher returns.Supplies from the new season crop have started arriving in AP, Karnataka, Maharashtra, Madhya Pradesh and Rajasthan.In Delhi spot market, chana fell down by -104.65 rupee to end at 3309 rupee per 100 kgs.
