Cell Phones Should Be Allowed In School

The bell rings, something happens at school, or you forgot you have a team meeting after school. How do you contact your parents if any of those things happen and there are no phones in the school near you? Cell phones have been banned from most every school all over America. Many people, including parents, think that they should be allowed in schools.
 
usage of Cellphones should be banned in class however students should be allowed to carry cellphones for safety reasons so that working can keep a track of the children s whereabouts
 
In this day and age usage of cell phones cannot be stopped.Often family members are thousands of miles apart.Unlike the old times there is often no full time parent.

Rather we should teach proper cell phone usage in a non intrusive way
 
it may be allowed only after a certain grade, by when the children would understand the effective usage and not just play:SugarwareZ-234: with their mobile phones.
 
Mobile phones can be allowed in colleges but not in the schools. And both the student as well as the faculty shouldn't use it during the class.
 
Cell phone has become a necessity in today's world. Students should be allowed to carry cell phones with them provided they are disciplined to use it only when it is really necessary.
 
these days students carry phones to school and hide them in their bags or inside their apparels. i think it should be left to parents dicrition whether to allow their children to carry phones or not.
but as faculty it would be really difficult to allow their students to carry phones in school.
so for the ones who really cant stay without a phone..keep hiding n using...

i feel yes coz we live on a time bomb all the time i mean the recent incidents which are taking place all over the country its very necessary for kids to hv a cellphone so that their parents can contact them.
n incase if their parents are afraid of negative influence they can definitely buy them a simple cell n also keep a check on it every now n then
but according to me safety comes first
 
Students must be allowed to carry cellphones in school but they should not be allowed to use it during the school hours...
 
no i dnt think that cell phones should be allowed in school .ther should b sm discipline on part of school atleast
 
nowadays children are quite advansed.they no very well how to use it and misuse it.so you cant stop them.anyways after a age they are going to get it anyways.then why not now.anyways if they want to create a havoc by misusing it they can do that without it also.if they have cell phones in school they can use it in emergency or just have it.
