A visitor looks at the Bonning Roadster, a concept 'car' prototype, which is capable of going from zero to 100 km in 5.1 seconds, at the Melbourne International Car Show.

The vehicle can achieve a top speed of over 200 kmph. The three-wheel vehicle is as stable as a conventional car and is powered by a Honda 1000-cc engine through its rear wheel with a 6-speed sequential gearbox and weighs in at only 400 kg.

Models pose by a Peugeot concept car 20 Cup at the Seoul Motor Show during a press preview in Goyang, north of Seoul.

Built aerodynamically, the 20Cup has a very low assembly and front transverse power train. The single-arm rear axle, is used only to steer the vehicle that weighs less than 500 kg. It is powered by a turbo-charged 4-cylinder petrol engine with direct injection has sixteen valves. It is packed with ultra-modern technical features.

A model stands next to a Rinspeed eXasis concept car at the International Motor Show in Geneva.

'There's never been anything like it' is how the Rinspeed concept car eXasis has been described as, and 'and it looks like no other vehicle before it.'

It is being seen as a drivable 'glass' car with a completely transparent body. The insect-like, shiny body comes mounted on a lightweight, 150 bhp Weber engine driven by CO2-emission-reducing bioethanol. The car weighs 750 kg.

The Russian Russo-Baltique Impression luxury concept car is displayed at the Geneva Motor Show.

The Impression has a Mercedes-Benz V12 that gives out 555 bhp. Its chassis is made of carbon fibre. The Impression is one of the first cars to come from the Russo-Baltique stable in almost 75 years.

The Hybrid-X concept gives us a glimpse of the future Toyota hybrid vehicles. The concept car has a low-slung one-box shape stretched over twenty inch wheels. Not much information is available about this car, but analysts say the car comes a step closer to zero emission.
