EPC News: 19 April,2013: India:Jaipur: The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs has approved to develop two laning road network with paved shoulders of the Ladnu (Nimbhi-Jodha)-Degana-Merta City section of National Highway-458 in Rajasthan. The project worth Rs552.09 crore, involves a total length of about 140 km.
The network developed under Phase-IV of the National HighwaysDevelopment Project will be executed through public-private partnership on engineering, procurement and construction basis. The project will expedite the improvement of infrastructure in the state of Rajasthan and also reduce the time and cost of travel for traffic, particularly heavy traffic, plying between Ladnu (Nimbhi-Jodha) – Degana-Merta City. The stretch connects Ajmer in the east, Udaipur in the south, Nagaur in the west and Sikar in the east.
