B.Voc Degree in Production Technology (Tool & Die)

• Duration: 3 Years [Level-5 (Diploma) - 1 Year, Level-6 (Adv. Diploma) - 1 Year, Level-7 (B.Voc Degree) - 1 Year]
• Intake: 50
• Age Limit (for Level-5): Minimum age 17 years as on 01st October 2014; Maximum age 22 years as on 01st October 2014.
• Qualification Examination: Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) Examination with at least 45% marks in aggregate of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics from a recognized board.
• Selection Process: Through Departmental Test.
• Test Paper Details: There would be one objective type paper of 100 marks comprising 100 question of 10+2 level with the following break up:
  
  • Physics – 30 marks
  • Chemistry – 30 marks
  • Mathematics – 40 marks

Test Schedule: 29th September 2014; Duration – 2 hours; Scheduled Start – 02.30 pm

Admission Charges: Boys (Non-Resident): EXT – Rs.14905/-; INT – Rs.14655/-; Girls (Non-Resident): EXT – Rs.14155/-; INT – Rs.13905/-

B.Voc Degree in Fashion Design & Garment Technology

• Duration: 3 Years [Level-5 (Diploma) - 1 Year, Level-6 (Adv. Diploma) - 1 Year, Level-7 (B.Voc Degree) - 1 Year]
• Intake: 50.\
• Age Limit (for Level-5): Minimum age 17 years as on 01st October 2014; Maximum age 22 years as on 01st October 2014.
• Qualification Examination: Senior Secondary School Certificate (10+2) Examination in any stream with not less than 45% marks in aggregate from a recognized Board.
• Selection Process: Through Departmental Test
• Part-A: There shall be One Objective Type Paper comprising 70 questions with the following breakup:
  
  • General – 20%
  • General Awareness – 30%
  • Mathematics – 20%

• Part B: Aptitude Test will consist of 30 questions with the following breakup:
  
  • Geometrical Drawing: Exercise in geometrical drawing comprising of Lines, Angles, Triangles, quadrilaterals polygons, circles, letter printing : 10% marks.
  • Memory Drawings: Free hand sketching of dresses, Jackets, Ladies purses, sandals etc. 10 % marks.
  • General Aptitude: About famous brands of dresses, sandals, chappals etc. (National and International) places of dresses: 5% marks.
  • Reasoning Test: Test and Graphics: 5% marks.

Test Schedule: 27th September 2014; Duration – 3 hours; Scheduled Start – 02.30 pm

Admission Charges: Girls (Non-Resident): EXT – Rs.12155/-; INT – Rs.11905/-

Note: -

• No Hostel Accommodation will be provided to the selected candidates.
• No Internal Status will be given to the students after passing the course.
• Students have to go outside Aligarh for Industrial Training.
• Classes will be held in the afternoon / evening
• The Admission Test will be held only at Aligarh and the candidates will collect their Admit Cards from the Office of the Nodal Officer, Community College, Electrical Engg Section, University Polytechnic, AMU at least one day before the Test Date
