I’ve always believed that the most important aspect of any experience is the alignment of values and the company of like-minded individuals, and even more so when it comes to deciding where to attend business school. *

It’s easy to portray the Booth culture and community to prospective students because I full-heartily believe in it. Effectively representing a company culture has been a vital part of my previous recruiting career, and it’s no different within the admissions team at Booth. For several years, I’ve recruited students from top MBA programs into summer internships and full-time positions at A.T. Kearney and American Express. As a recruiter, I was constantly connecting MBA students with team members across the organization to facilitate relationships in which both parties could learn about one another and asses if there is a connection.

Our goal is to share with you what differentiates Booth from other top business schools. Assessing your fit with Booth’s culture is an integral part of the selection and decision process. You need to experience Booth through discussions and interactions with our community in order to truly understand it. In my role, I get the pleasure of continuously meeting prospective students, current students and Booth alumni at events across the globe. I have the ability to assist in building connections through students and alumni so that prospective students have the ability to experience the Booth community and all it has to offer.

I’m constantly inspired by my interactions with our students, alumni, faculty, and staff that are contributing to our community’s culture every day. I’m honored to share Booth’s values with you, and I look forward to sharing more through additional blogs and events!

All the best,
Kim
