The BSF (Border Security Force) is the guarding force for border and it is one of the known armed police forces, which is comes under the government of India, Ministry of home affairs, Directorate general border security has published the notification in BSF for the post of Specialist doctors (SP) and general duty medical officer (GDMOs) in BSF hospitals. The applicable and well qualified applicants can apply for these given posts. The Openings are announced by the government on a contract basis.


Vacancies No. of Posts
For Specialist Doctors in BSF (Border Security Force), the total no. of Openings in BSF is 22.
For GDMOs ( General Duty Medical Officer’s in BSF), the Total No. of Openings IN BSF is 64.

Eligibility Criteria:

Educational Qualification:
The applicant must possess the Post graduate degree or diploma in medical from the acknowledged and recognized university related to the applicable posts.
The applicant must owner the 11/2 years of experience for those candidates who have a post graduate degree from the acknowledged University.
The applicant Must owner the 2 ½ years of experience for those applicants who have a diploma from the acknowledged university.
Age boundary:
The eligible applicant can apply for the given recruitment (Specialist doctor’s and general duty medical officer) which was not more than 65 years of age for BSF (Border Security Force).
The age reduction will be provided by the government to the applicant as per the system and policy set by the government.
Application Amount particulars for the openings of Specialist Doctors and General Duty Medical Officer in BSF:
