A year ago, COLORS burst on the Indian television seen with an unprecedented entertainment line-up on Indian television and dished it out with an amazing sense of style.
The creators of this channel had a single minded idea - to create a channel that was not only rich in color but rich in life. And now, as they see their beloved brand soar touching peak after peak of success; they were inspired to have their logo burst into butterflies to portray their aspirations that took wings! This refreshing look, although vibrant and new stays true to the
core identity and values of the channel signifying growth and continued progress.
The pretty three coloured petal that adorns the right hand top corner of your TV screen when you flick on the channel will be undergoing a change as the channel turns one. The channel’s logo will transform into a beautiful tri-coloured butterfly for a moment only to settle back into its place as a petal. Signifying not just the anniversary but the proverbial transformation of
a caterpillar into a butterfly, the logo will retain its original colours, shape and size.
And that’s not all! The mood of the channel in general will be reflecting the delight of celebration as the channel’s signature song takes on a peppier and vibrant tone as well! With a foot-tapping beat and a heart thumping tune, the channel’s song is being spruced up to take flight with the little fluttering butterfly logo! Also launching is the COLORS signature song,
‘Dekh Rang Yeh Mera Hai…’ featuring all the stars of COLORS.
The vibrant channel song has been sung by popular Sufi singer ‘Kailash Kher’ and the lyrics of the song have been penned by Amitabh Bhattachrya who shot to fame with his songs for the film DEV D.
As a part of their first anniversary celebrations, COLORS is currently running a nationwide campaign aptly named, ‘Shukriya India’. As a part of this campaign, the channel plans to visit over 20 Indian cities and towns in order to express their gratitude to their audiences who have appreciated every offering of the channel.
An awesome example of branding...!!!!
