Bowling Green State University’s College of Business Administration
About BGSU
Bowling Green State University was founded in 1910. The 1,338-acre campus in northwest Ohio, about 25 miles south of Toledo, consists of over 100 buildings. The University offers more than 200 undergraduate majors in seven academic colleges, 15 master’s degrees in over 60 fields, and Ph.D. programs in 16 fields.
At the center of the University’s academic community are the 787 full-time faculty members, who are engaged in teaching, research, and consulting. Over 19,000 students attend the main campus, including 2,900 graduate students. Ninety percent of the students are from Ohio and international students represent 55 countries. The College of Business Administration serves approximately 2,400 undergraduate students and 300 graduate students.
BGSU is conveniently located near several large cities and transportation centers. Air transportation is available through Toledo Express Airport (25 miles) or Detroit Metropolitan Airport (70 miles). Bowling Green also is within driving distance of Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton, Fort Wayne, and Chicago.
The main campus library houses more than six million volumes. Through OhioLINK, BGSU students have access to an additional 17 million volumes held in Ohio’s other state university libraries. The campus features 30 microcomputer labs for student and instructional use. A 200,000 square foot Student Union, golf course, indoor recreation center, and ice arena provide opportunities for relaxation and recreation.
The campus dominates the small town and surrounding rural community. The city of Bowling Green’s central business area is within easy walking distance of campus and presents a friendly small-town atmosphere. A wide variety of housing is available on-campus and off-campus within a short walking distance. The College of Business Administration has an arrangement with a privately owned hotel within walking distance for guests needing overnight accommodations.

BGSU has offered an executive MBA since 1976, making it the oldest in Ohio and among the 10 oldest in the U.S.
BGSU developed the first proprietary executive MBA program of its kind with Dana Corporation in 1976.
BGSU’s Master of Organization Development program, begun in 1975, was the first nontraditional graduate program in Ohio and the first graduate degree in organization development in the world.
