Bombay Management Association confers "Outstanding Institute of Management of the Year" award upon WeSchool
Recognizes WeSchool on its 35th Award Ceremony for its extraordinary contribution to management education
Mumbai, June 14, 2013: Bombay Management Association today conferred Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development (WeSchool) with the "Outstanding Institute of Management of the Year" award on its 35th Award Ceremony. Incepted in the year 1954, Bombay Management Association (BMA) is India's top, not for profit Management Association that aims at providing variant services to improve the standard of business management in India.

Commenting on the occasion Mr R Ramakrishnan, President, BMA said, "Education plays a crucial role in a nation’s upliftment and business management is essential for the growth of an economy. India needs educational institutes that impart business management skills which are relevant to today’s dynamic business environment and are determined to make a difference to the society. We are happy to present this award to WeSchool for their instrumental initiatives and projects that have empowered many students to realise their dreams. We wish them all success and offer our continued support for their future endeavours."

The other awards given away by BMA today are Life Time achievement Award to Mr Keshub Mahindra, Chairman Emeritus Mahindra & Mahindra Group, Management Man of the Year to Mr N Chandrasekaran, CEO & MD, Tata Consultancy, Management Woman Achiever to Ms Kalpana Morparia, CEO, J P Morgan and Entrepreneur of the Year to Mr Jignesh Shah, Founder & Group Chairman, Financial Technologies Group.
