Blame game can win elections?

Almost all national parties are burning midnight oil,not thinking about the development of the country,but huv to start a blame game on opposition parties contesting the elections.I haven't seen one party which was involved in a positive propoganda for contesting the election.Issues like Babri Masjid,26/11 will be dugged out even in election 2050.This is no way going to impact life's of ppl in 2050.But parties will start drumbeating about this even 50 yrs after the incident.

Is blame game the only way to win the election?
