Pakistan is a third world country. It is one of the developing countries. From the day it is establish, people are suffering from the various problems. Pakistan has a variety of natural resources. Like other developing countries, Pakistan has the most striking features, e.g., heavy size of rural population, low employment opportunities and Health. Pakistan as a developing country, suffering many problems. Among those problems one of her problem is health. The lack of health facilities is most apparent in formal sector; the problems are, to provide doctors, staff of hospital a basic education of maternal and to aware the people about it. It also includes the awareness about the new born babies. This activity is designed in the District of Gharo; enhance the health standard in its hospitals. Lack of specialized doctors and use of ancient obsolete methods are some of the problems. There are some health institutes which are making good doctors. Doctors who are in rural areas like Gharo, has to suffer many difficulties and many of them are not well trained which cause the multiple problems regarding the health. In past, there are many health cases which are treated with careless and untrained doctors, which cause the bad effects on health or sometimes death of a patient. People are not well aware of health. Even they do not have the basic awareness about the health. This is another problem in Pakistan which causes the problem for the Pakistan’s development. Until and unless a nation would not be a good in health, it will not make a strong and united nation.
The awareness regarding to maternal and new born babies in Pakistan is not in good position. People are not aware of it. There are new methods and new technologies which are not introduced to them. People are not aware about the check up in maternal and are not aware about the diet in that period. Our activity makes a part to aware them and makes them realize that it’s all about the health. Because of illiteracy and unawareness people do not take actions for the health of new babies. They are not aware of medical checkup of baby. Our workshop is to aware people about the regular checkup of babies. Healthy mother and Baby are good for family. The launching of said activity may spark the health dead bed in District Gharo. It may encourage local health planner for further proceeding of such activities in different areas of the district in good faith, but all depends upon the outcome of this activity. The volatility of expected results can be minimized through efficient allocation of resources and introduction sense of professionalisms. No doubt this activity will prove a value addition in the health process of District Gharo, Sindh, Pakistan.
Background:
The current defined activity would take shape into a workshop implemented pattern and would be wholly focused on the area Gharo, Sindh, Pakistan. This area has above the 25000 population. Mostly their occupation is agriculture. They are very possessive about their occupation. Literacy rate of Gharo City is about 40 % of it and for Gharo village it is approximately 5 %. Educational mind set in city is good but in village they do not prefer to educate their children. Infrastructure is better. There are roads, hospitals, schools and resorts for picnic point of view. We can say that Gharo is developing district of Pakistan. From last 10 years many people have migrated here and setup their business over here. Utility services are available there. Electricity, water and gas approximately are available in most of its areas. There are many NGO’s which are working there. Like, Pakistan Fisher Folk, Indus for All, Citizen Foundation and many more. The main problem for the inhabitant of this district is the health problem regarding to Hepatitis B & C and Polio. A part from it, people are suffering the health problem there. Inhabitant of District Gharo faces the unawareness of health issues and there treatment.
Aims and Objectives:
Assessing the objectives of our workshop we may want the proposed activity to predominantly target the following aims of the project. Firstly, to organize such fundamentalist activity is to keep the nation healthy and strong. Secondly, to aware the society about the importance of heath and to make them feel that they have to be the part of the solution of this problem. To minimize the death of mother or child because of careless attitude towards them. To minimize the risk of polio and other related effects which are started because of careless attitude of people and doctors in the society. To introduce the modern advancement of technologies related to workshop.
Layout of Activity:
A three day workshop is planned to impart and execute the activity in order to achieve the set targets. Six stages are designed to train the Doctors, other staff of hospitals, social workers and the common people. Each step has the importance on its place. Without following any of these steps our activity will be meaningless. Two stages will be carried on each day. Stage-1 Stage-2 Stage-3 Stage-4 Stage-5 Stage-6
Stage – 1: Awareness of local people to visit the hospitals. ? To encourage them and to build the confidence on the doctors.
Stage – 2: Check up of mother should be in routine ? Making them realize to care the mother and take them for check up on routine basis. Stage – 3: A proper diet for mother during the pregnancy ? During the pregnancy what should be included in the mother’s food and for what she should be stopped to eat. Stage – 4: After birth, mother and children routinely brought up for check up. ? Mostly in village after the birth of baby, people do not think of check up. In this stage they would be aware to carry them for check up Stage – 5: Diet of mother and baby after the birth ? At this stage they would be informed of diet after birth of baby, for both mother and baby Stage – 6: Treatment of baby for 2 years
? At this stage they would be informed that how they brought up their baby for 2 years. What medical treatment they should give to child
Expected Result:
? To make importance of heath in Gharo. ? To enable people of Gharo, Sindh to care the life of mother and new born baby. ? Health standard will be developed. ? People will be more aware of maternal and new born babies. ? Social part of the life of people will be developed. ? Their family life will be better. ? People will leave the old tips.
The Targeted Area:
Population of Gharo is about 25,000Literacy rate of gharo city is 40% & Literacy rate of gharo in rural areas in about 5 %.Every type of utility services are available, Gas, electricity and water .Attitude of people is normal, they are mainly related to agriculture. If there business is going good they behave normal.Infrastructure of Gharo is good. There are roads in good condition in city. Available Resources are rice,vegetable crops,wind power plant,Gharo food industries.. The Longitude is =67.58583 and the Latitude is= 24.74139 of populated place.

Human Resource is an integral element of activity, project or plan. It is HR department that make an activity successful with its best efforts. Resource person that needed for the completion of this activity are given below: ? Activity Manager:
To manage & coordinate the whole activity scenario within and outside workshop to save the interests of all stakeholders.
? Assistant Managers: Two Assistant Managers, one is responsible to manage & coordinate the functional process of the activity at workshop venue, and the other is responsible for the provision of all logistic facilities to all individual participants and to meet the requirement of general management for the said period. ? Master Trainer: Job Description: He is responsible to conduct the activity in its true spirit, to complete it within time frame to achieve the said targets.
? Assistant Trainers: Nine Assistant trainers. Job Description: Assistant Trainers are responsible to carry on test activities designed by Master
Trainer for a set of participants. Assistant teachers will be consisting of 4 doctors, 3 lady health worker and 2 will be social workers. ? Miscellaneous Staff
Technician, Peons, Runners, Guards) Job Description: To perform duties according to their job nature.
Defining the Workshop:
The build up to this particular activity may be potentially divided into four main categories. Please follow the preceding points: ? Before starting any preparation to launch this activity the management volunteers of the NGOs build up an air of motivation around the doctors, staff of hospitals and common people that are to be targeted one month prior to starting the event ? The workshop would last for three hours. It is divided into 2 shifts. First shift would be from 11 am to 2 pm and second would be from 3pm to 6pm for three days from Tuesday to Thursday. ? Finally concluding the event the management should distribute certificates to all the trainees that attended the workshop. ? At the end of workshop, we would distribute the related material to the participants and into the Gharo City.
