B School students learn theater in workshop

A Theater workshop I on "Voice Modulation"[/b] was organized for the students of Asia-Pacific Institute of Management, New Delhi. The duration of the workshop was 3 hrs. It was conducted by two stalwarts of National School of Drama (NSD), New Delhi. Mr. Suman Vaidya and Mr. Parag Sarmah.

The entire workshop was packed with different theater activity ranging from voice modulation, exercises, articulation, acting, and group dynamics etc. The students were enthralled by this workshop and were fully engrossed till the end.

Director of Asia Pacific SP Chauhan Said "a workshop to promote acting and performing arts as a tool of communication that extends to real life. The workshop included a host of games designed by NSD Alumuni that modelled situations similar to those encountered in corporate life and explored how managers react to them. These situations ran the entire gamut from negotiations, trust building in a team, politics and business ethics.

Mr. Suman Vaidya- NSD Graduate who has served NSD Repertory Company as a "A" Grade Artiste for 6 Year as a teacher of Voice & Speech and Acting. He has received Natsamrat best Actor Award in 2011

Mr. Parag Sarmah - graduate of NSD and worked NSD Reparatory Company for nearly twelve years as an artist. He has acted in more than sixty plays. He conducted Voice and speech classes as well as speech modulation and acting in several workshops in different parts of India. At present Mr. Sarmah is the Head of the production in NSD.
