Australian International Hotel School (AIHS)
The Australian International Hotel School (AIHS) is Australia’s leading university-level provider of hotel management education, located in Canberra, Australia’s National Capital.
Our Bachelor of Business (Hotel Management) degree is geared towards preparing students for a potential management career in the hotel, hospitality, tourism and allied sectors while our Masters of Hotel Management provides further training and experience complete with opportunities to establish strong industry contacts.
The AIHS is now one of the founding members of the global alliance - ORION Hotel Schools.
The Orion Group include six Hotel Schools throughout the world, they are:

Student Facilities
The AIHS complex comprises 5 multipurpose rooms equipped with appropriate seating, access to video and overhead facilities and connections for use of computer demonstrations. The complex also includes two Board rooms that are available to senior students for presentations or simulations.
Computer Facilities
The AIHS features a computer lab open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, for student access. In addition to the main computer laboratory each student’s residential room has facilities which allow connection to the schools computer network along with a number of study rooms located in the student residence wings.
The computer lab is also equip with printing facilities and each student is allowed free printing (up to 500 pages in a single term!).
Library
The AIHS Library focuses strongly on the Hospitality Industry, providing access to a substantial collection of books related to Hospitality and Tourism and 25 print serial titles and 100+ online titles. Other subject areas include economics, accounting, marketing and management. The Library offers online access to the Australian and International library catalogues and to a range of full text databases through the Internet. It is through these various online databases that students can obtain a majority of required article and journal research material for their projects, dating from years in the past to the present.
Direct local access is provided for students and faculty to databases such as the William Angliss College Library Index, Fairfax Network, AFR.COM, HCIMA e-journal full text hospitality articles, Jones Lang La Salle Hotels research papers and AusStats.
