Laws are just the way to handle the situation in the society. Govt make laws just for the sake and try to show the equality towards the women in the society is being maintained. But are these really favorable or promote the equality in the society?

Where women don't get any opportunity, what happened to those rape and murdered cases which have not yet solved, does these laws provide any security or only the females are needed to get aware of these.

Its likely to see that somewhere our govt is not serious about these matters and the laws made by them.

Its the problem in the Indian law system. The onus of proving guilty lies with the person who has framed the charges. Person who is charged also has equal responsibility to prove his innocence. So when there are no evidences against the accussed, he/she has to let free. This is a major bottleneck in the charging the accussed. Person charged with felony try to destroy all the evidences against them and they walk scot-free. This is easily doable in rape or violence against women. So most of the ppl charged with rape are not able to prove and thereby the accused are let-off.

I believe that the laws in India are same for both man and woman. The increment in rape of woman is not because of laws but the main reason is the dirty mentality of the people. Our constitution provides equal rights and make equal laws for all citizen of India. So we should not blame Indian laws for these criminal activities.

Laws and rules are good and equal for both men and women but the only thing that differs is money, status. In most of the cases that are solved, there will an accused from a rich family where they cover the case by corrupting everyone who is solving it

Some laws and acts like the prohibition of dowry act, the Child marriage prohibition act, the anti sati act, have atleast laid down the foundation for protection of women.

Yet, the results are not satisfactory.
