ARE OLYMPICS A WASTE OF RESOURCE?

Well there are many ways to get people united, but i don't think that Olympics is an answer to it.

Such huge amount of investment and if no returns than they give the damn reason that at least all the countries came in and met and unitedly played.

I'd say the cons hugely outweigh any pros when discussing hosting the Olympics.

So, I think the Olympics as they exist are a waste. They cost far too much, and though I appreciate the skill of the athletes who compete and the original ideas.

I think those ideas are flawed and a better model for bringing the world together exists in cooperative events such as Live Aid or the upcoming climate change concert. That's my thoughts on the issue.

Definitely, Olympics are not a money spinner.Its one way for countries to come under a single sky and it promotes a healthy competition among the participating nations.

I am not in favor of Neeraj. I think it is the good thing and should be organize. The Olympic Games give the chance to all nations to come closer and together. The Olympic games provides an environment of serenity, cooperation, non- violent competition. How can we say that it may be a waste of money?
