Now-a-days marriages are just a mutual agreement between two families. They are making marriages a business for the sake of dowry.

What o you think in this regard?

yes.. dowry is a issue in India....also there are strict rule against its practise... but d new concept tht has ruined d purity of marriage is "Contract Mariage". Influencing 4m d western culture people are moving 2ward contract mariage which may last 4 few yrs or less.

In today's time everything has become business.. and marriages are the oldest form of earning great income through dowry by harrasing families.

An Act to provide a special form of marriage in certain cases, for the registration of such and certain other marriages and for divorce

I would say the people of today are very choosy about their partners. They pay more attention towards in selecting their better half.More importantly, educated youths are not demanding dowry now-a-days.People from remote villages still talk about the same. This is because of the empowerment of women thru education.Women are earning equal to men as a result grooms parents are not willing to give dowry.People in Metros have become mature enough not to demand dowry.Credit should also go to the Govt for ppl aware that Dowry is illegal.

Another thing which is officially making marriages a contract is Prenaptuial agrrements.

Prenuptial agreements are contracts between two people about to be married. The contract protects the assets of one or both parties. While prenuptial agreements are commonly heard of among the rich, the contracts can be created for anyone who has assets they feel the need to protect in the event of divorce or their death. Having a prenuptial agreement provides the user with peace of mind regarding their valuables
