I think yes that Indians are less quality conscious. Just imagine if your parents earning 5000 rs per month and they have 4 child then how can they pay attention to the quality of the product. Actually in India there is big valley in the rich and poor class near about 70% peoples belongs to the middle class or the poor family and they are striving for their meal for two times then how they choose the quality of the product.

Because of limited pocket money they gives prefer to those product which is cheap in compare to another branded product. If we take an example of the t-shirts then hardly the price of one t-shirt is 150rs and if that's from the branding company. It will takes 300rs from customer then how can the peoples afford that who are belonging from the middle class.

Who the hell don't want to purchase quality commodities. The fact is we Indians want Quality with good quantity at an easily affordable prices. But, as India have 2nd largest population in world, with more than 50% of them in rural areas and due to this we Indians don't have great income. So, to let our life going having twice daily bread in large families, one has to compromise with quality to have big quantity.

well.. Yes that's true! A person can only think of quality once his basic needs and requirements are adequately fulfilled. And In our country where the middle class and below poverty line have got the highest ration in our population. How can we then expect the question of quality coming their minds?
