Applicability of Six Sigma in HRM of Software Companies
OBJECTIVES OF THE STUDY • To analyze the Applicability of Six Sigma for various HR functions. • To find the Quantifiability of various HR processes. • To explore the Measurability of the financial benefits (direct or indirect) to the organization by the implementation of Six Sigma practices. • To analyze the role of personal attributes on the Applicability of Six Sigma. • To assess the impact of various organizational factors on the Applicability of Six Sigma.
Instructions to students for Data Collection
1. The target respondents for the Questionnaire are the Middle and Top Level HR Professionals of Software Organizations of Karnataka. 2. “Awareness about Six Sigma” is a prerequisite for responding to the Questionnaire. 3. Each team has to collect the data from minimum 50 respondents from minimum 5 organizations. 4. Do not visit the same company/branch/unit which your fellow team has already visited. 5. Ensure that the filled-in questionnaire you receive is complete in all respects. 6. This project carries 15 marks in your final internal assessment. 7. Marks are awarded to teams, not individuals. Each member in a team will get SAME marks in the project. 8. Best TWO projects will be given attractive prizes and certificates. 9. Data collection process should be completed by 14.05.2012 (Monday)
