Anna Hazare - Stretching it too far?

Anna Hazare is the face of anti-corruption. He has taken the fight to the doorstep of the Government. His fight against the evil elements of the society has been going on since 1978.

2011 was his biggest victory or should i say 'Nation's' biggest victory led by Anna. For around 40 years he has been fighting but has never got nationwide recognition but in this new age of journalism, Anna got a great nationwide coverage to his cause. Citizens supported him from all strata of the society.

Recently when J. Dey, the Midday journalist was murdered in broad daylight, there was furor about his murder. Now Anna Hazare has written to the Prime Minister to look into J. Dey murder case.

My question: Is Anna Hazare stretching it a bit too far? He has been writing letter to the PM for the inception of the LokPal Bill which is fair. But isn't this a bit too much? Since 1992, 29 journalists have been murdered in India. Where was Anna Hazare at that time? He has never written any letters to the PM. Since he has become a household name and he knows that the Nation backs him in his cause, does that mean he can dictate the Government on which issues to handle?

Isn't this what we call "PARALLEL GOVERNMENT"

I would like to know your opinion on this.

Kind Regards

Neel

Well Jani, Anna Hazare is a great man who is behind Ralegan Siddhi. He might have been busy with that. Now he forays into other aspect which hinders the development of India. He is not even a piece of Government yet he has created a model of environmental conservation. So lets support him. Jai hind.
