PHP scripts are executed on the server

PHP supports many databases (MySQL, Oracle, Informix, Solid, PostgreSQL, Generic ODBC, Sybase etc.)

PHP runs on different platforms (Windows, Linux, Unix, etc.)

PHP is compatible with almost all servers used today (Apache, IIS, etc.)

PHP is easy to learn and runs efficient on the server side

Hey sunanada, many thanks for letting us know about the PHP language and it would be useful for many web designer. Well, it is a server side language which is generally used for the web development and designing. I am adding a document which would explain it in more detail.
