Aligarh Muslim University is one of the most reputed Universities in India. They structured an entrance exam, Aligarh Muslim University Master of Law Entrance Exam (AMU LLM Test) for the admission into the post graduate law programme. The duration of the LLM course provided by the University is two years. This University offers various courses. There are 100 seats offered for the LLM course. Structure of AMU LLM test
The admission process is done on the basis of the entrance test. The written test has duration of two hours. The test will be of 100 marks. The candidates who have a Graduation certificate in LLB or BA LLB with 55% marks can apply for the AMU LLB test. The candidates should attain the degree from any reputed Law Universities under the government. The candidates who have less than 22 years of age are not eligible for getting admission. Certain relaxation of marks and age are provided for the SC/SC/OBC candidates’ as per the government rules. The candidates in the final year degree classes can also apply for the test. The proof of their mark lists should be presented at the time of the admission.
How to Apply?
The application form and information bulletin will be published in the website www.amucontrollerexams.com. The candidates can get the form by downloading it from the website. The form can also be received by post after sending a request letter along with a demand draft of the application fee to the concerned authority. The registration number of the candidates should be filled at the top of the requisition letter. The application fee is Rs.600/-The filed form should be forwarded to the University before the due date.
How to fill the Form?
The candidates have to follow all the instructions given in the exam brochure to fill the form. There are several important things that taken into consideration at the time of form filling .The form should be in the prescribed format. All relevant documents needed to be sent together with this application form. The demand draft of Rs.600/- in favor of The Finance Officer, AMU will be enclosed with the form. The signature and thumb impression of the candidates must be there in the relevant place. The details mentioned in the form must be correct, otherwise leads to the rejection of the form. The form should be reached at AMU before the last date for receiving the application form.
