An advertising agenc/ or ad agenc/ is a service business dedicated to creating# planning and handling advertising *and sometimes other forms of promotion+ for its clients. An ad agency is independent from the client and provides an outside point of view to the effort of selling the client?s products or services. An agency can also handle overall mar eting and branding strategies and sales promotions for its clients. Typical ad agency clients include businesses and corporations# non>profit organi)ations and government agencies. Agencies may be hired to produce an advertising campaign. O11-ine vs7 On-ine Advertising Agenc/ !f you are a mar eter you may want to consider the differences between online vs offline advertising. The main reason for this is that we are so conditioned by offline advertising for e"ample television# radio# newspapers# maga)ines and flyers. Also with big companies launching their internet businesses they usually use offline media on a very big scale. 5o it is hard to believe one can run a successful internet business using only online advertising. Well this is e"actly what ! do. ! have been running my internet business using only free methods of online advertising and earning a full time income for many years. 0et me go through the differences between online and offline advertising. There are many different methods of online advertising to produce good @uality leads. Aowever# ! have found that since there is nothing physical associated with your advert people are a lot more li ely to forget about it soon after. ! have found the three methods of online advertising that produces the highest @uality lead to be the following. /)ine advertising in targeted e)ines related to your product or service. 5earch engine traffic related to eywords which represent your product or service. The last of these methods is article mar eting where you write articles related to your niche and create the credibility of an e"pert. 3ffline advertising wor s very well because there is something physical attached to your advert. People remember it very well and it usually produces a high @uality lead. ! have found the following offline advertising methods to wor very well. Bou can advertise in a large amount of newspapers at the

same time. Usually you receive a significant discount. !f you loo around on the internet you will find a lot of these deals where you can advertise in 1CC newspapers at the same time. The ey being to advertise consistently. Advertising in a maga)ine related to your niche also wor s very well. Bou can also use si))le cards with an enticing mar eting message and leave them wherever you go. -lyers also wor well and is very low cost# but the disadvantage is that you need to physically hand them out. Aaving a balanced mi" of advertising is very good for your business. !f for some reason =oogle goes through a major algorithm change and you lose a lot of ran ings you will still be attracting visitors from your offline methods. 5o when deciding between online vs offline advertising it is always good to spread your methods to even out your ris Advantages o1 Advertisement posting .ebsite Cheaper > !f you weigh up the difference between offline and online advertising# online advertising is usually much cheaper than offline advertising. A decent cost per clic budget or website advert is generally much cheaper than a series or run of offline or newspaper advertising and is often much more targeted and rewarding. This is not always the case# especially if you get deals for long term advertising offline# but on the whole you normally find that online advertising wor s out to be more cost effective and controllable in the long run. Target A8dience > A major advantage of online advertising is that you can target your audience much more efficiently. -or e"ample# if you advertise in a newspaper# although you can choose the newspaper that you consider being nearer your perfect audience# you will still have many more people who do not fit your criteria. With online advertising you can select who your advert is seen by# by niche# age# location and many other factors# especially when using cost per clic or other social media types of advertising. 5ore Options > When you consider the types of offline advertising there is# you will normally be able to name the top three# which are newspaper advertising# flyers and television. $ut when you loo at online advertising the options seem to be much more# with cost per clic # banner advertising# email mar eting# site sponsorship# directory advertising and many more. 3nline advertising also has more fle"ibility using these options# as they can easily be turned on and off# changed or re>written and republished to ta e advantage of any related news that might be relevant to the advert. 98ic:er > 3ne of the biggest advantages of advertising online is how @uic it can be. -rom the second you publish your new advert# news story or pay per clic advert# it will be live on the internet and have the potential to be viewed by thousands of people. With offline advertising# especially newspaper

adverts# you could be waiting up to a wee for your advert to go to press and then be delivered to all of the possible readers# meaning you have to plan well in advance to capture time critical or seasonal advertising opportunities.

The e"tended reach of information and services to customers that the !nternet has enabled# has created a new challenge for the developer. The developer should develop a user interface that is distributable# available on multiple platforms and supports a wide range of client environments from handheld wireless devices to high>end wor stations. 5o to maintain a broad reach to client environments and to achieve greatest compatibility with all browsers# this system uses standard AT(0. Ayper Te"t (ar up 0anguage is the standard language for creating documents for the World Wide Web. An AT(0 document is a te"t file# which contains the elements# in the form of tags that a web browser uses to display te"t# multimedia objects# and hyperlin s using AT(0L we can format a document for display and add hyperlin s to other documents. The user interface has been designed in AT(0 hence can be browsed in any web browser.

Cascading St/-e Sheets3 These have been used to separate data form presentation. $y using these style sheets throughout the project# a uniform loo and feel can be maintained for all the AT(0 elements and tags that have been used in the project. !f there is any revamp the way the content has been presented in the website# the changes can be made to the appropriate style sheet# which will be reflected across all the style sheets.

0B Script3

:$5cript is the default script for A5P. (ost of the code written in A5P is in :$5cript. :$5cript made A5P powerful by providing all features of other languages. :$5cript supports all data types# loops# conditional statements which is very useful in ma ing A5P page as dynamic. :$5cript is a script>based programming language that supports the development of both client and server components of web based applications. 3n the client side# it can be used to write programs that are e"ecuted by a web browser within the conte"t of the web page. 3n the server side it can be used to write web server programs that can process information submitted by a web browser and then update the browsers display accordingly. The script can perform actions# such as generating AT(0 codes that affects the display of the browser window. !t can be perform actions that affect the operation of plug>ins and ActiveM components. The script can also define :$ 5cript language elements that are used by other scripts. 5ome script may define functions for handling events that are generated by user actions. -or e"ample# we might write a script to define a function for handling by event “submitting a form” or “clic ing a lin ”. The event handlers can then perform actions such as validating the forms data or loading a new page. :$5cript%s event>handling capabilities provide greater control over the user interface than AT(0 alone.
