At SIIB we aim to give students as much of practical education and exposure as classroom teaching. The curriculum incorporates project work in various subjects. These projects are carried out in association with the Industry.To achieve the same end the Overseas Market Research activity has the support of 12 industries in and around Pune, which provide the students with live opportunities to hone their skills and receive corporate guidance and mentorship. This project lasts for a full semester.For the agribusiness management students, the Rural Sensitization Project provides an opportunity to do grassroot work with corporates in the basics of Agribusiness. Similarly companies like ICICI Bank, NCDEX (National Commodity and Derivatives Exchange Ltd) Commodity Markets etc. partner with SIIB to create and deliver industry relevant course curriculum.SIIB students have completed live projects for a host of companies among which are the following - Market Research Project with Darashaw & Company Ltd., Mumbai, PEPSICO, and Planning & Designing Cold Chain Infrastructure and many others.Prestigious Associations involved in teaching Benchmark Six Sigma – Six sigma Green Belt Certificate TUV Rheinland India Pvt. Ltd – Risk in SCM MERC (Maharashtra Electricity Regulatory Commission) – Energy & Power Economics
