The cash on the balance sheet of Shringar Cinemas in March was Rs 19 crore. The company had raised about Rs 80 crore through an FCCB issue. It has plans of setting up seven to eight multiplexes per year.
The required capex is about Rs 112 crore and the promoters own 47.5% stake as on March '06. The company's reserves stand at Rs 32 crore.
