I feel myself to be very lucky to get the opportunity from Management Paradise to attend AD : TECH, which was hosed in India for the very first time. Ad: tech is an interactive advertising and technology conference and exhibition. This event focused on importance and changing trends of advertisement on all sorts on online media. Ad : Tech witnessed the worldwide shows blend keynote speakers, topic driven panels and workshops to provide attendees with the tools and techniques they need to compete in a changing world. The conference went on for two days at The Leela Kempinski, Gurgaon on 27th and 28th of April, 2011. Ad : Tech brought together brand advertisers, traditional & interactive agencies, portals, on-line publishers and technology providers.
Ad : Tech invited almost all the major companies from the online advertisement industry including Yahoo, Facebook, Google India, Digitas, Fashion and You. The top-notch management people from these companies gave a keynote presentation in their conference schedule. Apart from these, all these companies were invited to put up an exhibition stall for allowing the visitors to grow their business. There have been sponsored workshops from many of these companies to show model of their respective companies. These workshops were taken by CEO’s and founders of companies, who could tell the minute details of their model.
I visited nearly all the companies exhibiting their products and services. The experience was thrilling to know how these companies use the Internet to help other companies to advertise themselves. While discussing with the executives representing these companies in exhibition area, I got to know that this platform is not only for companies who are into online business but anything can be advertised through Internet, just the difference is the method and audience is different for different products.
The overall visit to this event proved to be a lot beneficial to me. I hope Management Paradise would give me more such opportunities in future.
