Well, there have been myriads of speculation over currency after Greece Euro issues. There are myriads of countries who are struggling to maintain their currency value but, it is not necessary to take a direct step and change the currency itself. A Change.org petition has been launched to change the official currency of Australia from the 'Australian dollar' to ‘Dollarydoos’. Well, this issue has been raised by Thomas Probst and he is one who has initiated this petition which has received 9000 signatures till date. The main purpose to change the currency from Australian dollar to Dollarydoos is to stimulate and maintain the Australian Economy.
Due to global commodity prices plummeting, the Australian economy is struggling. That's why we need something to stimulate the Australian economy and that something is changing the name of the Australian currency to 'Dollarydoos'. This will make millions of people around the world want to get their hands on some Australian currency due to the real life Simpsons reference, driving up the value of the Australian currency.
