7 inslands make one city-Mumbai.

Mumbai was made together by 7 inslands. No one knows whom does Mumbai actually belong to. There are people from all different parts of the country staying here to make the best of their life. Mumbai always welcome people with open arms, gives them a living and in return does not take anything for them. No doubt it is known as one of the commercial city of India. It has come to such a height that even America President Obama came first to Mumbai then went to New Delhi to meet the Prime Minister of India.

Mumbai has many adjectives like A city of dreams is, A city of opportunities, A city of which never sleeps. Mumbai has many great monuments and also great people living in it. It is one of the cities which has seen some of the worst scenarios but has risen has a great power. we all know the number of attacks Mumbai had including the terror and riots still no one could diminish one thing that is Mumbai unity. When such incidents happened whole country is a proof that Mumbai joined hands. When floods strook the people opened doors to all the strangers. People all over India were surprised that a city which does not have time to look what’s happening in the neighbour’s household in difficulties it helps everyone not expecting anything in return. If you take the latest terror attack which lasted for three days none of the Mumbaikars could sleep peacefully. Everyone wanted to watch the news to get the latest updates. Everyone were praying that let this finish as soon as possible.

But there is one thing which at times disturbs me a lot that why do we wait for bad times to come on Mumbai and then help? The question I raised this question because I observed this many times that when we travel in train the gents do not allow many people to climb in. They just block the door and say there is no space even when there is space. Why this attitude that when there is trouble that time only we will help and not always? The answer is well known that they just because they want to hang outside. Even when they hang why do girls face the problem of eve teasing. Such eve teasers are tarnishing the image of Mumbai which is called as a safest city. Many rickshaws do not come to the destination because it is of minimum distance they just go away without understanding the urgency of the situation. Many people do not realize they are crossing hospital and they keep honking this noise pollution may trouble someone. Many people do see the person standing next to them is old and cannot cross still they won’t help. Many times in ladies compartment ladies fight for seat.

All such small things are tarnishing our image and we should stop it from happening. Let the spirit of Mumbai always be alive and not only during circumstances. Let’s keep this spirit alive in our day to day life and not wait for circumstances to come and open our eyes. Lets make the world proud of us. Let’s achieve the dream of becoming the safest commercial center and make India proud of it. When we have survived of so many things we can do many more things…..
