1. The Pinch
Starting out as a small, close knit rock band that played at college and school festivals, The Pinch has evolved with time to showcase their talent at live music concerts. This four member, Bangalore-based band has been in the business of music since 2013 creating a cosy and snug atmosphere with the kind of music they play. Pinch is a four angled sound space with moody vocals over rippling bass runs, energetic drums and simple guitar riffs.
2. Madboy/Mink
Formed by Bollywood’s critically acclaimed actor Naseerudin Shah’s son Imaad Shah and vocalist Saba Azad, Madboy Mink is a funk-disco duo band, set in the country’s financial capital. The duo is inspired by powerful electronic mash-ups and inculcates live guitars, vocals and synthesizers to create a unique blend of music of their own.
3. Hari Sukhmani
Inspired by Sufi artists such as Bulleh Shah, Baba Farid and Kabir, the Punjabi folk music duo, Hari and Sukhmani focus on amalgamating the soulful tunes of traditional Punjabi music with modern and powerful electronic beats. Strongly believing in bridging cross-country cultural and religious divides through their soul-stirring tracks, Hari-Sukhmani have been featured on TV shows such as The Deewarists and Coke Studio, which has strengthened their presence on and off screen.
4. Laxmi Bomb
Set in the roots of Bombay, steeped in the meanderings and the hustle and bustle of the city, Laxmi Bomb is an electro-pop music band that showcases their talent through local tunes. The music has also been a regular feature in the radio show Indie Thursday, hosted by RJ Teejay Sidhu on Radio One and Radio City.

A rock band with its roots set in India, Paradigm shift has been in business since 2009. Their genre is inspired by Indian classical music as well as fusion and progressive rock. Bringing the same spirit and inspiration on stage, Paradigm shift is geared up to perform at one the of most awaited communication festivals of the country, Fest-O-Comm 2016, hosted and organised by Symbiosis Institute of Media & Communication, Pune, on Thursday, 11th of February, 2016.
6. Thaikkudam Bridge
A Kerela based band, Thaikkudam Bridge gained popularity after airing on the musical show on Kappa TV, Music Mojo. Formed in 2013 by Menon Brothers Govind and Siddharth, Thaikudam Bridge is known for performing various genres of music. The band is all set to tour America in May 2016 and markets itself through online social media platforms. A few of their popular songs include Fish Rock and Shiva, which are original creations of the band members.
