Chennai, February 26-27, 2011: The Annual cultural and management fest of LIBA (Loyola Institute of Business Administration) to kick start on Feb 26th, 2011 (9.AMonwards) at LIBA college campus, Nungambakkam. The fest invites participation from not only UG, PG students but also working professionals in a wide range of management and cultural events. With innovative 7 management, 5 cultural and 5 online events lined up for 2 days, ExQuizite - LIBA’s annual signature open biz quiz that invites participation from over 250 quizzing teams’ year-o-year from across the country will have celebrity quizmaster Derek O’Brien hosting the show.
A peek into the game highlights:
The Texas Hold em' Poker (Marketing Game) has been one of the most successful ones at Chrysalis since its inception. Inspired by Poker, this game combines the addictive effect of Poker with brand knowledge and marketing skills. It’s a 'must play' for marketing students, Fun for all!
Board of Investor (Finance Game): Yet another in-house innovation, this game is basically Monopoly with investment options (Shares, Bonds, IMFs, Derivative, Insurance, Real Estate, Gold, Forex etc) as cells. A brilliantly designed excel sheet would be used to play this game. This is a brand new game created exclusively for Chrysalis 2011 and promises to be a cracker!
Audeamus (HR Game): Human Resource Management: Often the most underrated yet most indispensible support function. Mercurial human emotions are what HR Managers face in everyday life as they tackle intermittent demands from the workforce and humungous pressure from the management. They walk a tightrope balanced by prudence on one side and tact on the other. Do you have what it takes to be a shrewd diplomat? Do you dare to compete in the conflict of interest face off?
Burn the Floor (Group Dance Competition): Lots of prize money at stake and the best dancers across the country on stage. Do we need say more?
