I can answer this question by taking the comments by one of our prof. According to his experience and observation whom ever used to sit in front bench will end up as researchers, lecturers etc.And those back seat fellows turn up as successful entrepreneurs.

I feel it depends on the financial background of the employee. If his/her family is not depending on their salaries this factor may not matter for most.

I think both are equally important.............We should give more preference for qualification . with good qualification the chances of getting high profile jobs are more. Which in turn brings more exposure and learning...............
