    The possible options given are 1 and root 3. Certainly the ans is not one however it can be root 3. Roots of the roots will have a lesser value so we can take approximateor neglect them. The question does not expect you to solve it completely(literally impossible) but to make a smart guess.

    sq(1)=1 Therefore sq(1+anything)>1 and it may be root 3 Or u can try sq(1+sq(2+sq(3+sq4) = sq(1+sq(2+sq(3+2) root 5=2.23 something = sq(1+sq(2+2.23) = sq(1+sq(4.23) take 4,23 as 4 approx = sq(1+2) = sq 3
