I am currently attending one and the difference between an eMBA that you meet in person vs one that is online is vast. My colleague has a mainly online degree and the connections he has made are vastly inferior to mine due to the closeness of the class.

I would also agree that if you don't go to a top MBA school the gains are mainly just informational in nature. It is hard to separate yourself.
