the worli aarey dairy has 1500 labourers who are provided with government protection(medical help,residential quarters etc).they do not face scarcity.the major problems are tacked by the government and the minor by the workers themselves.

it produces 1.5 lakh liter milk per day in the worli dairy to distribute in south mumbai.the excess milk produced is converted to solid form i.e powdered milk and is sold on the basis of auction.and during emergencies this powdered milk is mixed with fresh milk along with water.
