Infact I forgot to mention that books are now obsolete and a mere waste of time and money.

I agree that television gives us a wealth of information which books lack. It is convenient, economical, comfortable, flwxible to watch television and gain knowledge and information rather that with books. I like History channel and get a lot of information about various things by watching it.
