Violence is in a person's 'mind', video games, movies etc merely encourage them. If not video games, a criminal will find million other motives to commit crimes.
It's true violence shouldn't be there in video games, but one must reform the mind.

Exactly. One can only be successful if they have the right approach towards their job/passion. Mere degrees never can help a person if he doesn't have all those qualities required for being successful.

For school students, I don't think this phrase 'work-experience' would be applicable. What they basically need is interaction and how to deal with their surrounding peeps especially learning to deal with peer-pressure.
A part-time job, though would be a very fascinating idea to these kids...
